Parkinson's disease.

They are notes born from the experience of living with Parkinson's and from observing how a condition transforms the relationship with the body, time, space, objects, and people. They do not claim to represent everyone with Parkinson's nor to become medical literature. They use a situated experience to investigate broader questions about capacity, energy, autonomy, dependency, adaptation, and design.

They are written from a particular condition whose intermittency turns the body into a higher-resolution seismograph. It is not an extreme case, but rather an early user: someone who today lives with fluctuations that tomorrow may become part of many more lives.

That is why these notes, born from a specific condition, can end up speaking of a universal condition: that of being human.
